with Morna Young

Join Morna Young for a workshop about creating and writing musicals, from a playwriting perspective. From writing the large scale jukebox musical The Stamping Ground, featuring the songs of Runrig, to the intimate one woman show Babs, Morna will explore the challenges, insights and beauty she’s discovered in her book and lyric writing journey.

Please note: this workshop will be approached musicals from a writer’s perspective, rather than a composer’s perspective. A basic knowledge of playwriting is assumed, but no prior knowledge of musicals, book writing, or lyric writing is required.
