A discussion and Q&A focusing on what stories we want to tell and how we can tell them. We will also discuss how a playwright can change the ecology of a rehearsal room and theatre by what they write and what they can ask for.

Morgan was commissioned by The Globe to write Emilia which became a sell-out in summer 2018 and transferred to the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre in 2019. It won three Olivier Awards in 2021 including Best Comedy or Entertainment. It has been optioned as a film and she is in development on this currently. Previous theatre includes Belongings and The Wasp. More recently – Mum for Francesca Moody Productions, Plymouth Drum and Soho Theatre in September 2021 and Typical Girls for Clean Break and Sheffield Crucible in September 2021. Morgan is currently under theatre commission for Headlong, Lyric Hammersmith, and The Rose Theatre. For Television she is working with Gaumont and Moonage. She is also adapting her play The Wasp into a screenplay for Paradise City Films and Mum for Popcorn films. She is represented by David Higham Associates and WME.
