A special play reading in aid of Ukraine

All box office income will be donated to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Twenty-five actors will take to the Tron stage to read this extraordinary play set in a village in Ukraine in the 1930s where loyalties become divided as friends and families deal with the consequences of Stalin’s first five year plan – a plan which resulted catastrophically in the deaths through famine of several million people.

Beginning with innocent romance, The Grain Store evolves into a dark, tragic, often weirdly comic and hugely theatrical work of art.
