SCOTTISH PREMIERE
A young man leaves his small hometown to find refuge in the bright lights and warm embrace of the big city. He discovers solace and joy in the city’s LGBTQ+ scene, but soon finds himself navigating a terrifying unfolding health crisis, almost completely ignored by the government.
Following a sold-out run of performances in Dundee in 2023, Small Town Boys will be touring six cities in Scotland during 2024, performed in a nightclub venue in each location.
Presented in Glasgow at the iconic Polo Lounge, a cast of eight dancers, a community cast, a soundtrack of 80s & early 90s anthems, as well as original music, bring the joy and chaos of the club scene to life.
Choreographed by the award-winning Thomas Small and designed by Becky Minto, Small Town Boys will have audiences laughing, crying and dancing the night away.

In Glasgow, the show will take place in the Polo Lounge nightclub. The club at present only has stair access to basement floor where the show is being performed.
In the light of this Shaper/Caper, have considered how they can make the show as accessible as possible to people who may have mobility difficulties and wheelchair users, and hope to be able to provide assistance on an individualised basis.
