Musical Theatre Mock Audition Workshop

with Katherine Skene

This performance has taken place in the past

This workshop is hosted in partnership with Spotlight.

Whether you are working on a new song, you want some advice on pieces you are using during auditions or just want some feedback on songs you enjoy – Katherine offers first class and invaluable feedback on your performances.

Choosing a song of your own choice, in this group audition session, you will have the opportunity to ‘audition’ live one at a time, running through the process as if it was the real thing. After you have performed, Katherine will provide in-depth feedback on your performance and work through the material with you, highlighting areas of possible improvement and how to use your time and talent efficiently when in the room. You will also have the chance at the end to have an open Q&A with Katherine, where she will be happy to answer any industry questions you may have.

In a relaxed and safe space, this is a great opportunity to work on your material, to try out new ideas and an opportunity to gain audition experience.

Please bring a song of your own choice, either Musical Theatre or Pop style (no more than 5 minutes). We will have a live pianist in the room, so please do bring along your sheet music (in a folder if possible). Please also bring a second song with you, just in case.
