SCOTTISH PREMIERE

I’m walking down the street and there’s a door in the fence open and inside there are three women I’ve seen before.

Three friends meet for a chat in the garden. A neighbour is invited in and as darker secrets emerge, their afternoon is punctured by flashes of catastrophe.

‘Caryl Churchill’s magnificent play unleashes an intricate, elliptical, acutely female view of the apocalypse. Revolutionary.’ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★  The Observer

Cast: Blythe Duff, Anne Kidd, Irene Macdougall and Joanna Tope.

A model of a garden shed surrounded by decaying flowers and foliage is photographed against a fiery orange background. The shed is lit from within, as if on fire. The door is slightly open, inviting the viewer into the story.
