Changing House

The Changing House is a basic studio space, which doubles as a rehearsal room. The basic room dimension is 8.4m x 10.5m (3.5m to underside of beams).

We deliberately decided on keeping the finishes simple and hard wearing - 2 of the walls are red brick, 1 is stud partition and the adjoining wall to the main Theatre is the original roughcast outer wall of the Tron Church. We have some black hung in front of the brick and the roughcast walls and a traveller in front of the double doors.

The flooring is MDF and is painted black. You can fix into it if required. There are 4 skylights in the room, which have motorized blackout blinds.

There is currently a seating bank against the brick wall opposite the double doors. This seats 50 with one row on the floor.

Get-in - The Changing House is situated on the first floor – there is a goods lift for access.

The Changing House has proven itself successful for many events including; Dramatic production, Work in progress, comedy performance, rehearsal, conference and training.
