Everything’s changing. It’s frightening. We need to be able to ground ourselves in who we are. We need to celebrate ourselves. Value ourselves like a character in a favourite story. We can begin by telling our stories to a witness. And then hearing our stories told to us: and witnessed by our companions. And perhaps we can begin to see ourselves as heroes in our life story. Heroes: not victims. heroes who can contribute to the necessary changes in our lives and in our world.
This workshop is for anyone with a story to tell with some tips of how to tell it and how to listen.
Playwright, performer, father and grandmother. Author of around 110 plays, among them The Taming Of The Shrew and Life Is A Dream. First performed her The Gospel According To Jesus Queen Of Heaven here in the Changing House 12 years ago. Since then, it’s been translated into 6 languages and performed in every continent of the world.
