Exploring Caryl Churchill

This performance has taken place in the past

A day-long workshop led by Joanna Bowman, practically exploring the work of ‘Britain’s greatest living playwright’, Caryl Churchill.

Designed for actors, and using Churchill’s plays, this is an opportunity to think about ways of staging and wrestling with non-naturalistic drama.

A model of a garden shed surrounded by decaying flowers and foliage is photographed against a fiery orange background. The shed is lit from within, as if on fire. The door is slightly open, inviting the viewer into the story.
