The workshop will take a playful, practical approach to voice & accent work, inviting participants to try out and examine useful tools and techniques they can later apply to their performances.
The day will consist of:
Participants will learn how to embrace and analyse your own unique vocal identity, get the most out of a vocal warm-up, approach learning a new accent, take ownership of a new accent, fill a performance space with your voice and how to connect clearly with your listener.
Morag has coached Voice and Accents at leading UK Drama Schools - East 15, LIPA, MMU and currently at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she initially studied. Following a 25-year performance career she was awarded a scholarship to train on the MA Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Recent coaching work with professional actors includes National Theatre of Scotland on their award-winning show Adam and the BBC 3 TV series Clique.
