Three hours of full-on structured exercises sharing the nine viewpoints originated by dancer Mary Overlie and developed by directors Anne Bogart of SITI Company and Tina Landau of Steppenwolf, which give actors and directors tools they can use in any movement improvisation situation, for ensemble building work or devising.
Beth Friden is a Glasgow-based actor and voice artist with varied experience in movement and physical theatre. She is from the USA, where she trained at Whitman College and learned viewpoints technique. She works in both English and Scottish Gaelic, and is an Associate Artist at Theatre Gu Leòr.
