A practical introduction to verbatim theatre with theatre maker Gary McNair. Participants will learn the techniques used in creating McNair’s verbatim play Locker Room Talk (Traverse Theatre) and use those skills to make a short verbatim performance of their own.
Participants will leave with knowledge and understanding of a range of methods for making verbatim theatre and first-hand experience of making a performance from self-conducted interviews.
Please note the workshop will be based at the Tron but participants will be asked undertake interviews in the surrounding area during the workshop.
