National Theatre of Scotland and the Tron Theatre present a preview of The Drift by Hannah Lavery with the Coalition of Racial Equality and Rights as part of Black History Month.

The Drift, by writer and performer Hannah Lavery, is fresh from its appearance at the National Theatre of Scotland’s Just Start Here weekender. The Drift is a beautiful story of love, loss and bereavement, as well as a searingly honest portrayal of growing up mixed-race in Scotland.

Hannah Lavery is a writer and performer. She was awarded a Tom McGrath playwriting grant in 2015 and the Megaphone Residency from the Workers’ Theatre in 2017. She has performed her work at Solas Festival, Sonnet Youth, Flint & Pitch and Rally and Broad and has recently had her work published by Gutter, 404 Ink, Postbox Press and will be published by Stewed Rhubarb in December.

Written and performed by Hannah Lavery.

National Theatre of Scotland is core funded by The Scottish Government.
