A writing workshop exploring how to explore and exploit the comedic potential of your characters. How can we create comedy without the need to dumb down our characters or plot? Why might we use comedy as a tool to tell our stories from an alternative angle?
Johnny McKnight is a writer, director, actor and performer as well as the joint artistic director of Random Accomplice Theatre Company. He has been described as the new vanguard of pantomime in the national press having written 8 contemporary pantomimes. Forthcoming commissions include Royal Court Theatre, Macrobert and Tron Theatre.
