16th October 2019
Warm up your dancing feet and get ready to burst your lungs with a work in progress sharing about growing up in Glasgow, devised by local artists alongside the award-winning Middle Child.
Over three days a group of local artists will come together to write, compose, direct and perform in an original piece of gig theatre that makes a noise, mixing bold new writing with original live music to capture the moment when the beat drops.
This is your chance to experience a piece of new work that is live, loud and local, with a company ready to set fire to your expectations of a night at the theatre.
Middle Child create gig theatre that brings people together for a good night out with big ideas. Their recent hits include All We Ever Wanted Was Everything (Bush Theatre; Edinburgh Fringe) and Us Against Whatever (Liverpool Everyman; Hull Truck).
To be part of creating the show then please visit the CREATIVE section of our website and look out for workshop as part of our October to December BUILD programme.

'There is a disconnect between an industry predominantly based in metropolitan areas and those who feel unheard, those who never go to the theatre, who think it’s not for them, or who have no access. Middle Child is the kind of company that can bridge the gap.' Lyn Gardner, Guardian
