Tron CREATIVE presents
Making Work for Young People

with Rosalind Sydney

3rd December 2018

What does a young audience demand from a performance? And how can we structure our stories to engage, challenge and entertain audiences under the age of 12?

A playful workshop where participants will learn about allowing your audience to be at the centre of the performance. Participants will explore techniques and structures that help to communicate with a young audience and that enhance the story and the characters within it.

Rosalind graduated from RSAMD (RCS) in 1998. Since then she has worked extensively as an actor and more recently as a director and theatre maker. The work she has become most passionate about is for young audiences. Her play Up To Speed, created with Laurie Brown and for 7 years+, has toured throughout the country and she recently created a piece of audio theatre for Perth Theatre called If These Walls Could Talk for everyone over the age of 8. Rosalind is directing Remember December for 3-6year olds for Christmas this year at the Tron.
