It’s 1987 and Edinburgh’s gay bookshop is celebrating its 5th birthday. Join the staff as they stage an unforgettable retrospective performance. Love Song to Lavender Menace explores the love and passion it takes to make something happen and the pain and grief that's caused when you have to let it go. 

James Ley is a playwright living in Edinburgh. James is a founder member of Village Pub Theatre (VPT), a Leith-based writing collective, that presents readings of work in a Leith pub. James' trilogy of plays: The Ego Plays are published by Oberon Books.

TalkFest at the Tron is a mini-festival celebrating the work Scotland's playwrights. Packed with new playwriting, rehearsed readings, discussions, workshops, script surgeries and networking opportunities.
