Longform improv is an art form that's been made famous by the likes of the Second City and the Upright Citizens Brigade as well as by performers such as Chris Farley, Amy Poehler, and Donald Glover. Emotion is the glue that holds improv together. It's the thing that will lead you to stronger scenes with great POV, characters, and connection to your partner.
In this full-day workshop, participants will work on finding and using emotions in scenes. Having a strong emotion helps to get performers out of their head and playing to the top of their abilities. Participants will also learn how emotion will keep them in the moment and help them to follow their instincts.
