This two day workshop is ideal for those wishing to discover and explore working with the Intimacy on Set Guidelines. It is aimed at directors, actors, and movement practitioners with a practice that includes working with intimacy, sexual content and nudity.
The Intimacy On Set Guidelines are a proven method of implementing best practice when working with intimacy, sexual content and nudity on stage. Developed by Intimacy Co-ordinator and Movement Director, Ita O’Brien, the guidelines are an internationally recognised system for safeguarding in the performance industry. Known for her work on set with HBO, Netflix and the BBC, Ita is now actively training a generation of Intimacy Co-ordinators to meet the growing for the role in the theatre sector.
There will be 5 places for directors, 5 for movement directors and 10 places available for actors.
Workshop content will be tailored to those working within theatre settings and followed by a symposium that discusses the wrap around support needed to implement the guidelines.
The workshop is free to attend but is by application only. To apply attendees must complete the online application form here. The deadline for applications is 17 February, you will receive confirmation as to whether or not you have been selected by 24 February.
