Inspired by her native Fair Isle’s intimate relationship with the sea, Da Fishing Hands is an intricately crafted, hauntingly evocative suite of new compositions by singer/accordionist Inge Thomson (Harem Scarem/Karine Polwart Trio). Originally conceived with her late cousin Lise Sinclair, it also features Admiral Fallow’s Sarah Hayes (vocals/flute), Fraser Fifield (sax/kaval/whistles), Steven Polwart (guitars) and Graeme Smillie (bass).

'Some of the finest music and poetry ever to have emerged from these fair isles.' Shetland News

The gorgeous voice of multi-award-winning singer/songwriter Maisey Rika fronts a five-piece line-up of leading Maori artists, who combine traditional forms such as waiata, haka and mōteatea with original folk/pop compositions.
