"C’mere till I tell ye, ‘mere till you see

In psyche and geography

I’m talking about the area greater"

Premièred to glowing reviews at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe, Greater Belfast – originally developed at the Tron Theatre – is a bittersweet love-letter to musician/performer Matt Regan’s home city. Song, storytelling, poetic spoken word and instrumental composition – also featuring the Cairn String Quartet – merge in a personal exploration of Belfast’s history before, during and since the Troubles, richly couched in pungent local idioms, matching poignantly heartfelt lyricism with caustic black humour.

Presented by Little King and Tron Theatre

Written, composed and performed by Little King (Matt Regan)
Directed by Claire Willoughby
Featuring Cairn String Quartet
Lighting Design by Simon Hayes
Set & Costume Design by Alice Gooden

This production was originally developed with support from Tron Theatre CREATIVE, and received its British premiere at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh in 2016.
