10th September 2018
This event occurred in the past. It is no longer possible to book tickets.
Using recent productions as case studies we'll look at how Grid Iron shows are conceived and then brought to fruition including the sensible things like timeframes, budgeting and fundraising and then the exciting things like finding performance sites, health and safety on site, working with venues, co-producing and putting together creative teams. We'll talk about when things have worked, when they haven’t, and when they shouldn’t have but did.
Participants will learn how Grid Iron approach different kinds of productions and will leave with tips on budgeting and fundraising, finding sites, working with venues and forging partnerships and co-productions. Please come armed with lots of questions.
