For intermediate performers and directors
An opportunity to work with Professor Ros Steen of Voice Studio International on the Nadine George Voice Work® and contemporary text. As former Head of Research and the Centre for Voice in Performance of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Ros pioneered the use of Nadine George Voice Work as a medium of rehearsal in professional theatre in Scotland and was responsible for introducing and establishing the work as a core language of the Scottish theatrical landscape.
A Voice Practitioner for over 35 years, Ros has studied and worked with Nadine George since they met in 1990. This practical technique can be used internationally by actors, voice teachers, directors and anyone wishing to develop their true voice. The work is unique, using the sung sound and linking this directly to the body and to work with text
This workshop involves some physical contact. Loose clothing to be worn. Participants will be required to familiarise themselves with a short monologue before the workshop which will be supplied.
