TRON STUDIO - ENGAGE, CREATE, ENJOY

Tron Studio is a community drama company for adults, offering opportunity to discover and develop their talent, or reconnect with their creative self. The current company are creating a new piece of theatre for premier in February 2020. The new ensemble will recruit from Spring 2020 onwards.

Tron Studio are currently working towards a production in Spring 2020. Future dates to be confirmed.

TRON COMMUNITY CHOIR - SING! SING! SING!

The Tron Community Choir is for people who love to sing, belting out classics from Chaka Khan to Rhianna via Bowie. There may also be further opportunities to perform at events out with the Tron.

No experience necessary and no audition process.  To join, please contact box office directly. Your first session is on us, followed by a small monthly membership.

WRITE TRON - DEVELOP, INSPIRE, CREATE

This course for adults offers fresh insights to support writers to find new approaches to their creative practice.

Designed for writers of all experiences and levels, the course content is tailored to suit the needs of each participant. Working with writer and dramaturg Stephen Barnes, with time between sessions to allow for reflection and development, the course includes a one to one session as well as a ticket to a production within the current season.

  • Saturdays 18 Jan, 8 Feb, 22 Feb, 28 Mar (Additional one-to-one surgeries in March).
  • 10.15am – 1.15pm, £120 (£100)

STAGE DESIGN COURSE - EXPLORE, MAKE, CREATE

Created for adults with an interest in discovering how a production is brought to life, this course offers an insight into set & costume design, scenic art, construction and prop making. Led by Scottish designer Claire Halleran, the sessions consist of both practical and theoretical teaching, with participants encouraged to create their own model box designs inspired by the Tron Theatre autumn production, The Alchemist. Later in the season, participants will be invited to a meet & greet with creative team members of The Alchemist as well as attending the preview of the production, with an opportunity to display work created.

No prior experience necessary. Future dates to be confirmed.
