This course for adults offers fresh insights to support writers to find new approaches to their creative practice.
Designed for writers of all experiences and levels, the course content is tailored to suit the needs of each participant. Working with writer and dramaturg Stephen Barnes, with time between sessions to allow for reflection and development, the course includes a one to one session as well as a ticket to a production within the current season.
Created for adults with an interest in discovering how a production is brought to life, this course offers an insight into set & costume design, scenic art, construction and prop making. Led by Scottish designer Claire Halleran, the sessions consist of both practical and theoretical teaching, with participants encouraged to create their own model box designs inspired by the Tron Theatre autumn production, The Alchemist. Later in the season, participants will be invited to a meet & greet with creative team members of The Alchemist as well as attending the preview of the production, with an opportunity to display work created.
No prior experience necessary. Future dates to be confirmed.
