Tron Theatre is pleased to announce three brand new project commission opportunities for artists based in Scotland. Through funding received by the Performing Arts Venue Relief Fund we are looking to commission three new projects which can be delivered and presented to audiences outside of our building and in new and exciting ways. We are looking for work which is innovative in its form, content and process, the commissioned projects are an opportunity for Tron to support work which we may not normally be able to due to our requirements for programming and building-based activity and we are encouraging artists to think outside the box.
We are seeking proposals from artists, companies or collectives in Scotland to create and present a new completed piece of work for audiences, which must happen outside of our theatre spaces. We anticipate the work may be digital in form, outdoors or take another form for audiences to engage with. The commission amount available to create and present the work is up to £20,000 per project and projects need to be completed within a 4 to 6 week period.
Please note, the deadline for these opportunities has passed.
These opportunities have been created with funding from the Scottish Government's Performing Arts Venue Relief Fund. Tron Theatre is supported by Creative Scotland and Glasgow City Council.
