In Benin City, a young girl struggles to support her family. A world away, in a Glasgow tenement, ‘aunty’ Martha arranges a job and flight for her.
Based on the experiences of young women trafficked to Scotland, Cora Bissett’s multi award winning explosive production, combining direct, chilling performances with video, animation and music, thrusts you into the brutal, complex and hidden world behind the newspaper headlines on sex-trafficking.
PLEASE NOTE:
Meet at the Tron Box Office to be transported to the production’s off-site location. The production contains strong language and sexual imagery.
Funded & supported by Made in Scotland, Glasgow IETM, Glasgow City Council, Creative Scotland, Scottish Refugee Council, Women’s Fund for Scotland.
