Charlie comes from a long line of Grumps. His whole family are Grumps, stretching all the way back to Grumpius Majora who sat in the drizzle on Hadrian’s Wall. Just now, Charlie is in his room looking forward to seeing you all at his seventh birthday party. Down in the kitchen his family are gathering for The Great Grumping, where Charlie will have to eat stewed cabbage, and begin his journey to Grumphood.
