Ramallah by David Greig
An Imagined Sarha adapted Adapted by David Greig from Palestinian Walks by Raja Shehadeh
An Arab Woman Speaks by Franca Rame

'Performed with grace and clarity, these vignettes capture the rage, bewilderment and hope-against-hope that is born out of oppression.' **** The Guardian   **** The Herald   **** The Scotsman **** The List

A middle class couple find that geography is not just a place, it’s also a state of mind; an Arab woman describes her struggle for independence, a struggle that extends to murder; and one Arab Palestinian and one Israeli Jew take time out from arguing to find unexpected companionship in nature…and an illegal puff.

Sparse and elegantly written, these three short plays including 2 world premieres by David Greig and one monologue documented by the great Italian writer Franca Rame. Each of these plays gives voice to some of those who have witnessed the personal and political struggles of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
