Tron Open Day
The Tron Open Day has evolved from the company’s involvement in Doors Open Day. Being a busy producing venue the Tron wanted to pin point a key date where we can give patrons, new or existing an insight into the workings of our theatre and promote all the events and activities the Tron has to offer.
The event not only encourages increased footfall but allows for cross departmental working, utilises non theatre spaces of the building, offers patrons historic and backstage building tours led by tour guides in period costume and gives patrons special access to the theatre to see the technical department in action e.g. working on a focus or fit up.
We also plan to run taster workshops in performance and technical skills such as costume design, stage make up and lighting demonstrations.
