Intro
Education and Outreach strives to provide a wide variety of opportunities and experiences within in the arts. We operate an open door policy encouraging participation from all regardless of age, ability or background demonstrating our commitment to developing and support social development and life long learning opportunities within Glasgow communities and beyond.
Each year Education and Outreach deliver over 200 workshops, working with over 3000 participants aged between 3 and 78. The program presents participants with openings to explore creativity and learning both as artist and audience. Tron Education aims to:
- provide opportunities in which imagination, creativity and innovation can be explored and developed
- reach the widest range of audience by targeting all age ranges, abilities and backgrounds
- offer a varied range of workshop opportunities and experiences
- raise the profile of the Tron Education and Outreach
- make the arts and the Tron Theatre itself appealing and accessible to people of all ages, abilities and back grounds

- Drama skillshops for children and young people
- Creative Writing workshops
- Teacher training sessions
- Free school tours and information days
- Child and parent interactive storytelling
- Pre and post show discussions
- Performance projects
- Partnership working
- Community projects
